Teva Baltics UAB, a TEVA group company (hereinafter - the “Teva”) would like to collect and process your personal data in „SalesForce/Veeva CRM“ (hereinafter – CRM System) data system and have the possibility to use this data for communication, reporting of the meetings with you and (or) direct marketing purposes.

In light of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective from 25 May 2018, which enhanced everyone’s right to have control of their personal data, we would like to describe how we will collect and use your personal data to help us fulfil our obligations.

Personal data we collect and why we collect it

In order to effectively cooperate with You and to know, in which way and when you would like to receive our information, we would like to process your personal data in CRM System. Based on your chosen options in the attached consent form, we would send you a business related information by your email and (or) by phone, as well as would mark in the system when TEVA’s representatives visited you in your work. In case during the meeting Teva employee will cover expenses, these expenses will be provided in the expense report together with the supporting documentation.

For this purpose, we will collect and process your personal data, which you will provide above, as follows: Name and last name, specialty, email and (or) phone no., workplace name and address, meeting place and date, and a signature.

Your name and last name together with the workplace is needed for the identification purposes and internal reports regarding the visits of you by TEVA employees, whereas your email and (or) phone number will be used for communication purposes and also for direct marketing (in case you would agree with that in the consent). 

Legal basis for data collection

Your consent is our legal ground for processing your submitted personal data. We respect your privacy and will protect any of your personal data that we process. Your personal data are processed only by TEVA and no third parties, except for below indicated service provider UAB Softdent, receive your information from us. 

Length of personal data storage

Your personal data will be stored and processed by us as long as you cooperate with us. In any case, we will contact you after 2 (two) years for the re-confirmation of the consent, should we need to further process your personal data.

You are free to withdraw from these informative e-mails, phone calls and (or) postal communication at any point, by informing us using the contacts below.

International data transfer and its safeguards

Teva is a global group of companies and as a result, your information may be transferred outside the EEA to a country that may have different data protection laws. Teva will always take steps to ensure your information is adequately protected if transferred to these countries; for example, when transferred to Teva in the USA, such transfers are protected by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc.’s Privacy Shield certification.

How we store information and your rights

Your personal data will be stored and processed in CRM System. Accounts will be created by and technically supported by the service provider, acting as the data processor:

Data processor shall process your personal data only according to the purposes indicated by TEVA, as the data controller, i.e., to transfer your personal data together with a scanned copy of your consent to the system and check the data. Data processor is obliged to ensure the safety of your data protection and protect from its disclosure for the third parties.  

You may be entitled under applicable law to ask TEVA for a copy of your information, to correct it, erase or restrict its processing, or to ask us to transfer some of this information to other organisations. You may also have rights to object to some processing and, where we have asked for your consent, to withdraw this consent. These rights may be limited in some situations – for example, where we have a legal requirement or other legal basis to process your data. As set out above, this can mean that we retain your data even if you withdraw your consent to its publication.
